Minimalist Ceramic Side Plate Set of 4 | 5.6" Stoneware Snack, Dessert & Appetiser Plates, White Plate Set for Kitchen Dining

A four-piece side plate set in minimalist stoneware, 5.6 inches across — the size that does the most work in a kitchen and that most dinnerware sets skimp on. Side plates are for toast, cheese, a scone, a slice of cake, tapas, a bread plate at dinner, and holding the tea bag you've just fished out of a cup.

Four is the right number: enough for a family or a dinner for four without buying a full crockery set you don't need. Unornamented white stoneware means they mix with any dinnerware you already own — no clash, no attempt to match a discontinued pattern. Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe, so they go from fridge to oven to table to machine without a second thought.

Why you'll love it

• Set of four — a complete plate set for a family or a dinner party.
• The most-used size — 5.6in suits toast, cake, cheese, tapas and bread.
• Oven, microwave and dishwasher safe — genuinely everyday plates.
• Minimalist white stoneware — mixes with any dinnerware set you own.
• Chip-resistant body — stoneware survives real family use.
• Reusable — the everyday replacement for party and disposable plates.

Details

• Material: glazed stoneware ceramic
• Sizes/Options: set of 4, 5.6 inch (approx. 14cm)
• Care: dishwasher, microwave and oven safe; avoid sudden temperature shocks; stack with a cloth between plates to protect the glaze
• Ideal for: side and snack plates, dessert and appetiser service, breakfast tableware, tapas and sharing plates, christmas plates set, afternoon tea

Practical tip: keep these at the front of the cupboard, not the back. Side plates get reached for several times a day in most houses, and storing them behind the dinner plates is the fastest way to end up eating toast off a full-size plate.
